Our team has generated >$1Billion in revenue, and we’ve recently pivoted to a performance model—investing our own capital in ad spend and getting paid for the result—while our employees share in the profits too. We are a fully remote team looking to grow in different countries.The founderJoey Alter has over ten years of experience in direct marketing, specializing in paid social customer acquisition and retention. He has managed multi-million dollar ad campaigns for Fortune 500 clients (over $250 million in total ad spend managed). He’s also delivered results as a freelancer in conversion rate optimization, copywriting, and email marketing, and is passionate about continuous improvement across paid social strategies, long-form copy, and conversion funnels.About the roleWe are hiring a Creative Strategist to join our growing team. The ideal person has deep expertise in creative strategy and a proven track record of developing ads that don’t just look good, but convert. You should actively improve failing campaigns by identifying exactly how to improve ads through better hooks, angles, and visual storytelling. This is a great position for someone with 2–4 years of experience who wants to level up. Since we invest our own capital and get paid on performance, we need someone who thinks critically and comes up with innovative creative solutions—not someone who only follows a playbook. A willingness to learn and continually improve matters more than years of tenure.What You’ll DoCreative Strategy & Briefing: Work with the CEO and our video team to ideate, draft, and produce video ads that convert at scale.Ad Optimization: Constantly analyze creative performance to iterate and improve existing ads, testing new hooks and visual angles to extend the life of winning campaigns.Recruit actors & influencers: Expand the network of actors to star in our videos.Research: With guidance from the CEO, research the ideal customer persona—their problems, desires, needs, fears, and decision set—to inform creative strategy.Test planning and execution: Work with the CEO and our media buyers to continuously improve results through A/B and multivariate testing of creative variables.Competitive research: Monitor creative trends and competitor strategies in target industries.Performance analysis: Audit creative performance on each account twice weekly for insights and test opportunities.Video review: Ensure all ads created by the video editing team are up to spec; collaborate to communicate the sales message in the visual language of video.Conversion rate optimization: Work with the CEO and our development team to continuously improve revenue per visitor and conversion rate of landing pages and ads.Requirements2–4 years of experience in performance media buying, with a strong emphasis on creative strategy and developing high-converting video ads.Proven ability to improve ad performance through creative iterations and data-driven adjustments.Knowledge of recruitment processes for actors and influencers.Demonstrated ability to work under and meet KPIs.Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables and VLOOKUPS will be necessary).Proactive mindset instead of reactive.Ability to write with style and within compliance guidelines.Growth mindset—always willing to learn.Fluency in English.International applicants OK, but must be willing to work on US time zone.Portfolio of work you can share.Nice to have but not requiredExperience buying media on any channel.Experience writing for financial services.Experience with affiliate or other performance-based ways of working.One other creative “special skill” (Photoshop, video editing, basic web dev).Written and produced TikTok Ads before.Worked and succeeded in a compliance-heavy industry before.Actors & influencers you’ve worked with before you can bring to the table.BenefitsOne-time $500 tech stipend.10% profit share on all copy you write that works after a 2-month probationary period.20 days PTO.Flex time after first 2 months (work when you want as long as deadlines and performance goals are met).3-month performance reviews with a real opportunity to advance and get raises.Fully remote work, always.Direct mentorship from the CEO on improving in advertising and copywriting.Work with brands at the top of their industries.
