Requirements and responsibilities

We are looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager – AI to lead AI Platform and GenAI product engineering initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing technical leadership with hands-on engineering, driving the delivery of scalable AI-powered solutions from concept to production. Responsibilities: - Lead execution and delivery of AI Platform initiatives. - Contribute directly to AI architecture, coding, evaluations, and deployments. - Build scalable AI-powered systems, workflows, and GenAI applications. - Mentor AI engineers and foster technical excellence. - Establish AI-native SDLC standards and engineering best practices. Technical Expertise Required: - Strong Python development experience. - LLM applications, RAG systems, and AI agent frameworks. - LangChain, LlamaIndex, and vector databases. - Prompt engineering, AI evaluations, and observability. - MLOps and AI deployment practices. Leadership Experience: - 10+ years in software engineering with 2+ years in leadership/management. - Experience leveraging AI-powered development tools (Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, etc.). - Full-stack mindset across frontend, backend, and data platforms. - Proven ownership of end-to-end product delivery. - Strong focus on engineering quality, testing, CI/CD, and team development. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Nice to Have: - Experience in e-commerce, retail technology, or high-scale consumer platforms. - Managing distributed or nearshore teams across global regions. - Contributions to developer platforms, tooling, or SDLC modernization. - Strong documentation and architecture governance practices.
