We deliver intuitive software, fast onboarding, and responsive support so local governments can operate more efficiently and serve their communities with confidence.Job SummaryFUNDVIEW is seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to lead and scale our QA function as we continue to deliver mission-critical solutions within the GovTech space. This role will be responsible for establishing quality standards, driving automation, and ensuring the reliability and performance of systems built on the .NET framework.The ideal candidate is both a builder and leader—capable of developing QA processes from the ground up while mentoring a growing team and partnering closely with engineering, product, and leadership stakeholders.This is a hands-on QA role tasked with the design and build of our QA testing frameworks from the ground up. In this role, you will create and maintain scalable testing strategies, QA processes, and support the long-term product quality, to include: test planning, road mapping, and documentation for future expansion.Key ResponsibilitiesLead QA Strategy. Define and execute a comprehensive QA strategy aligned with product and engineering goals across multiple systems and releases. This role will be a hands-on contributor to the success of the QA Team.Build & Scale QA Function. Establish testing frameworks, processes, and best practices, with a strong emphasis on automation and continuous improvement.Automation & Tooling. Drive adoption of modern testing tools such as Playwright or comparable frameworks; oversee test automation within CI/CD pipelines.Technical Oversight. Ensure quality across applications, including API, integration, and end-to-end testing.Team Leadership & Development. Recruit, mentor, and develop QA professionals; foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and technical growth.Cross-Functional Collaboration. Partner with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle.Risk Management & Reporting. Identify quality risks early, communicate effectively with leadership, and provide clear metrics on product quality and release readiness.Required Qualifications6+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or management roleProven experience building or scaling QA functions in a product or systems-focused environmentStrong background in test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar)Experience testing applications built on the .NET FrameworkSolid understanding of integration testing, and system-level validationFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesExperience working in or with GovTech is preferredPreferred QualificationsExperience with performance and security testing methodologiesFamiliarity with tools such as Postman, Azure DevOps, or similar platformsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsDemonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment
