Requirements and responsibilities


Responsibilities - Summarize legal documentation, correspondence, and case developments for the Senior Management Team - Conduct records research and legal research; coordinate research efforts with the community management team and key stakeholders - Draft a full range of legal documents, reports, and correspondence - Review legal forms and filings for accuracy and completeness - Process, manage, and follow up on insurance claims through resolution; prepare claim files and attend mediations remotely where permitted - Maintain working knowledge of state and local regulations governing AL, MC, and SNF communities - Prepare, track, and submit licensure paperwork for every community in the portfolio, coordinating with US-based staff for signatures, notarization, and physical filings - Deliver training, education, and ongoing support to community teams via video conference, including workers' compensation and EEOC matters - Periodically review associate handbooks, resident handbooks, resident agreements, and community licensure documentation for compliance and accuracy Must-have - Excellent written and spoken English (C1 or above). You will draft executive-level correspondence, deliver training to US-based staff, and participate in live calls and mediations. Fluency will be assessed in a live interview. - 3+ years supporting US-based legal, paralegal, or compliance work Demonstrated legal drafting ability across contracts, correspondence, and formal filings - Experience with US regulatory licensure processes, renewals, and submissions - Familiarity with US insurance claims handling, including mediation support - Working knowledge of US workers' compensation and EEOC processes - Ability to distill complex legal matters into concise executive-level summaries - Highly organized, with proven deadline and calendar management across many concurrent matters - Reliable availability during US business hours and a stable remote work setup - Reliable high-speed internet, a professional video setup, and a quiet environment suitable for training sessions and mediations
