The Media Investment team is agile, solutions-oriented, and focused on campaign performance metrics. Support spans both managed service and self-service customers who are looking for experienced buying support for positive business results.WAYS YOU’LL CONTRIBUTEThe Social Media Buyer is responsible for managing specific social campaigns pre and post launch, as well as ensuring social RFPs and campaign launches are managed in a proactive manner. The Social Media Buyer is responsible for understanding the media plan objectives and how social can directly affect overall performance of the campaign. You'll contribute by:Building and QA-ing campaigns according to best practicesMaintaining a strong understanding of the paid social landscape and the latest products, solutions, and best practices across all major platformsReviewing campaigns daily to monitor pacing, audit performance, and own all optimizationsStewarding Basis’ client’s media investment across Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit, Pinterest and XWorking alongside Basis’ internal cross-functional Operations team, Analytics team, and Digital Media Buyers and Planners to develop performance stories and ensure campaign results based on measures of successBuilding strategic campaign plans for social RFP requestsCrafting client facing POVs based on the evolving social landscapeAssisting in the training, mentoring, and development of Social Media Buying AssociatesAdopting new processes or workflow modifications as introduced to ensure accountability for the consistent and repeatable use of processTroubleshooting technical issues with creative, tactics, URL’s, pixels, ad management platforms, and other campaign settings when necessaryProviding education on paid social platform tools to other internal teams as neededAssisting in the development and documentation of best practices related to paid social media management for both internal and external documents and assetsDeveloping a relationship with clients through direct communication via external statuses, QBRs, and ad hoc meetingsWHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE2+ years of experience with the daily management and execution of paid social campaigns across various platformsAbility to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, under tight deadlinesStrong analytical skills and the ability to pull and analyze reports from various ad manager platformsFamiliarity with first-party and third-party data and tagging/pixel placementDetail-oriented and organizedDeveloped communication and presentation skillsSolutions-orientedProficiency in Excel, PPTPrecise attention to detailAbility to work in a cross-functional team environmentCommitment to creating inclusive, respectful environments where all voices are valued and supported.Thoughtful approach to collaboration, design, and decision-making that prioritizes equity, access, and continuous learning.Integrity in HiringAt Basis, integrity is at the core of how we hire.
