In this role, the Telehealth Counselor is responsible for conducting a comprehensive assessment of the clients’ presenting issues, establishing a treatment plan aimed at resolving identified issues, and facilitating a referral to long-term treatment and/or community resources when clinically appropriate. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of clinical counseling experience, the ability to work independently and flexible schedule to meet client needs.Primary ResponsibilitiesConduct a comprehensive assessment of the clients’ presenting issues, establishes a treatment plan aimed at resolving identified issues, and facilitates a referral to long-term treatment and/or community resources when clinically appropriate.Maintain a full time caseload of appointments each dayUtilize brief, solution-focused interventions to resolve the clients’ presenting issueEnsure safety for clients who present at risk to harm self/othersEnsure that all clients are properly referred to long-term treatment, when clinically appropriate, utilizing their benefit plan and/or community resourcesMaintain up-to-date documentation for all client contacts in the ComPsych system per established procedures and processesContinually strengthen professional knowledge base through review of trends related to telehealth counseling, effective treatment modalities, and evidence-based interventionsOther duties as assigned.Job QualificationsMinimum 3 years of clinical counseling experience requiredMaster's Degree in Social Work, Counseling or Psychology requiredIndependent clinical license requiredExperience providing direct clinical services and solution-focused therapyKnowledge of treatment issues and EAP servicesExceptional communication skills, with a strong focus on customer service and sound clinical judgmentQuick thinking, high energy, positive, and professional, with demonstrated multi-tasking and critical thinking skillsMust have high-speed internet and workspace free from distraction, disruption or noiseAbility to be on camera when attending work related trainings, meetings and/or eventsMust be able to sit or stand at desk for prolonged periods of time while working on a computerRemote Telehealth Counselor will work remotely from the state of MTRemote Telehealth Counselor will need to be licensed in the state of MTCompensation and BenefitsFull benefits package, including Paid Time Off (PTO), medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, robust EAP, wellness program, and much moreThe salary range for this position is 55,000 - 70,000 USD. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, and scheduled hours.
