Title: Outbound Sales Caller — New Client Acquisition, US Freight Brokerage (Remote, LatAm)
About us
We're a US freight brokerage based in Wichita, Kansas. We move heavy haul, crane transport, and oversized freight — the loads most brokers won't touch. We're growing our book of shipper clients across the southern and coastal US and need someone on the phone every day opening those doors.
The role
You are the first voice a potential client hears. Your job is to find companies that ship freight, reach the person who decides who hauls it, and get them interested enough to talk to our team.
This is a phone job. You will be on the phone most of the day, calling people who did not ask to hear from you. If that sounds miserable, this isn't the right fit — and that's fine.
What you'll do
Make 150–250 outbound calls per day to manufacturers, distributors, equipment dealers, contractors, and industrial suppliers
Get past receptionists and reach the traffic manager, purchasing manager, or owner
Find out what they ship, how often, where it goes, and who moves it for them now
Create enough interest that they'll take a real conversation with us
Book that meeting and make sure it holds
Follow up with the ones who say "not right now" — most new clients come from the third or fourth touch, not the first
Keep the CRM current daily
What we're looking for
Fluent, confident spoken English — you'll be talking to American business owners and logistics managers who interrupt, ask blunt questions, and won't slow down for you
You can hold a conversation, not just read a script. The good calls go off-script in the first thirty seconds
Comfortable being told no thirty times before lunch, and calling number thirty-one the same way you called number one
Persistent on follow-up without being annoying
Reliable internet, wired connection, real headset
Available 8am–5pm US Central Time
Organized enough to keep clean notes without being asked twice
Nice to have, not required
Spanish fluency — a meaningful share of the businesses in our territory are Spanish-first
Prior B2B outbound experience in freight, logistics, insurance, real estate, or equipment
Familiarity with a CRM or power dialer
You don't need to know freight. We'll teach that in two weeks. We need someone who is genuinely good on the phone — that part we can't teach.
Compensation
$7 USD/hour base, paid monthly via Deel or Wise.
Plus $15 per qualified meeting that takes place, and $100 for every new client you source that ships with us.
Realistic first-year earnings: $1,350–1,500/month. There is no cap on the account bonus.
This is an independent contractor engagement. You'll invoice monthly and are responsible for your own taxes and equipment in your country of residence.
Applications without a voice recording won't be reviewed.
