Role Overview:
- We are seeking a technically knowledgeable professional to support customers with construction-related products, technical quotations, specifications, and project requirements.
- This position combines technical analysis, estimating, customer communication, and sales support.
- The successful candidate will review project information, prepare accurate quotations, answer product-related questions, and help customers identify appropriate solutions.
- This is a technical sales position rather than a general customer-service role.
- Training will be provided on the company’s products, quoting procedures, and sales processes.
Responsibilities:
- Review architectural drawings, measurements, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Prepare accurate technical quotations and pricing proposals.
- Identify missing, incomplete, or contradictory project information.
- Communicate with customers to clarify technical requirements.
- Explain product options, specifications, pricing, and project considerations clearly.
- Coordinate with suppliers, purchasing, production, logistics, and other internal teams.
- Maintain accurate records of quotations, customer communications, and project updates.
- Follow up on open quotations and support opportunities through the sales process.
- Develop detailed knowledge of the company’s construction products and systems.
- Provide professional support to customers primarily located in the United States.
Required Qualifications:
- Completed, or nearing completion of, a degree in a relevant technical field, such as architecture, civil engineering, architectural engineering, construction engineering, industrial design, product design involving physical products or building systems, or a closely related engineering or construction discipline.
- Advanced professional English proficiency, approximately CEFR C1 or higher.
- Ability to communicate naturally and confidently with customers in English.
- Ability to explain technical information in a clear and organized manner.
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to understand drawings, dimensions, specifications, and product information.
- Availability to work full-time during the established U.S. Eastern Time schedule.
- Reliable computer, internet connection, webcam, and workspace suitable for professional calls and confidential business conversations.
Preferred Experience:
- Construction or architectural-product estimating.
- Doors, windows, glass, glazing, cabinetry, millwork, or building materials.
- Reading construction drawings, plans, measurements, and specifications.
- Preparing technical quotations, estimates, or pricing proposals.
- Coordinating with customers, suppliers, purchasing, production, logistics, or installation teams.
- Technical sales, project coordination, or customer-facing construction roles.
- Previous experience with doors is helpful but not required.
Virtual-Office Environment:
- This position operates in a live, video-enabled virtual office during scheduled working hours.
- Team members are expected to keep their video enabled and remain available for real-time communication and collaboration, except during approved breaks, private conversations, or when an accommodation or applicable law requires otherwise.
