The Opportunity:
We are seeking a user-centered designer to contribute to the UX of our existing SaaS platform and help shape new, highly innovative products. This role is perfect for a designer comfortable in fast-paced, startup-like environments who thrives on transforming complex problems into clear, usable solutions. You will be the primary voice advocating for the user, collaborating closely with product managers and engineers to deliver exceptional web and mobile features.
What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities):
- Conceptualize & Deliver: Conceptualize, wireframe, and deliver user-friendly, developer-ready designs for new web and mobile features.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and engineers to translate ambiguous requirements into intuitive user flows.
- Research: Conduct user research, interviews, usability testing, and data analysis to validate and refine designs.
- Improvement: Review and improve existing workflows and information architecture for a cohesive and frictionless experience.
- Design System: Create and maintain a robust design system and reusable UI components.
- Excellence: Stay up to date on modern interaction design practices and share insights with the team.
Our Core Tooling & Concepts:
- Design Tools: Figma (or similar high-fidelity tools).
- Design Principles: User-Centered Design, Information Architecture, Responsive/Adaptive Design.
- Methodologies: Wireframing, Prototyping, Usability Testing.
- Products: SaaS platforms, Web & Mobile applications.
- Environment: Fast-paced, dynamic, startup-like setting.
What We're Looking For (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design for SaaS and/or mobile products.
- Experience designing in fast-paced, dynamic environments such as startups or new product launches.
- Strong ability to distill complex or ambiguous requirements into simple, usable flows.
- Expertise in Figma (or similar tools) for low- to high-fidelity design.
- Proven experience with responsive and adaptive design across devices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to clearly explain design rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bonus Points For Experience With:
- Designing for data-intensive or manufacturing applications.
- Familiarity with in-app guidance and onboarding tools such as Pendo or Appcues.
- Experience working directly with clients or external stakeholders.
