You’ll deliver work end-to-end from problem statements to production‑ready capabilities, design patterns, and architectures that keep our apps fast, scalable, and extensible, and collaborate with the other teams to surface new building blocks and deliver the next generation of AI-enhanced productivity for mobile app development.You’ll be a true owner, from prototype to production, and work side‑by‑side with product, design, and solutions engineering, all while staying close to merchants to deliver value early and iterate quickly.HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACTDesign, ship, and maintain a reusable, type‑safe React/Next.js component system.Prototype new UI and features in weekly sprints, validate with live merchants, and iterate to release to thousands of apps.Optimize bundle size, server‑side rendering, client-side performance, and WCAG compliance.Build tooling (CLI, CI pipelines, linting) that makes it easy for outside developers to extend our product without limits.WHAT SKILLS YOU’LL NEED5-7 years of experience in software engineering.3+ years of full‑stack development with React Native, React + Next.js (TypeScript).Experience building and maintaining design systems/component libraries.Familiarity with cloud deployments and hosting.Ability to ship production-ready code in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.BONUS IF YOU HAVE:Shopify or ecommerce experience.GraphQL experience.Background in UX, product or design critique.Contributions to open‑source component libraries or design‑system tooling.WHY YOU’LL LOVE ITAutonomy: Small, tight‑knit squad with end‑to‑end ownership.Impact: Create in-app experience used by millions of shoppers every day.Innovation: Design and deliver a cutting-edge mobile app development platform driven by both humans and AI.Culture: Collaborative, fast‑moving environment that values competency, creativity, and experimentation.Compensation$175,000-$200,000.
