The OpportunityAs a Mortgage Loan Processor, you’re the hero behind the scenes who keeps everything running smoothly. The Mortgage Loan Processor is responsible for independently managing a pipeline of mortgage loan files, including the review, verification, and validation of financial, credit, and property documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and investor guidelines. This role handles more complex loan scenarios and serves as a key contributor to maintaining efficient loan progression in a fast-paced environmentIn this fully remote role, the Mortgage Loan Processor collaborates closely with underwriters, account executives, borrowers, and third-party partners through frequent phone and email communication. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical proficiency, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing investor guidelines and priorities.This role carries a high level of accountability and ownership over assigned files. The Mortgage Loan Processor II consistently meets or exceeds established service level agreements (SLAs), proactively manages pipeline flow, and contributes to continuous process improvement while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and high-quality customer service.You’re the organizer, the communicator, the problem-solver—and sometimes the magician who makes the impossible happen.What You'll DoManage loan files from start to finish with accuracy, accountability, and efficiency in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentPartner daily with Account Executives to keep files moving forward and priorities alignedGather, organize, verify, and track borrower and property documentation with a strong focus on quality and attention to detailCommunicate frequently via phone calls and emails with borrowers, brokers, underwriters, appraisal management companies, title, and insurance partnersEnsure all documentation meets standard operating procedures and underwriting guidelinesProvide consistent, professional, and proactive customer service to internal and external partnersBalance multiple deadlines while maintaining accuracy across a large pipeline using strong organizational skillsUtilize advanced technical skills to work effectively in a fully remote settingStep in to support additional responsibilities as business needs evolveAuthorized Remote Locations: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, NC, SC, TX, UTWork Schedule: Monday - Friday: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm CSTSalary Range: $24.00 - $33.00/hour (Non-Exempt/Hourly/Overtime Eligible)What We Are Looking For:1+ years of mortgage processing experienceHigh School Diploma or GED EquivalentExperience using a mortgage Loan Origination System (LOS)Working knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to manage confidential and sensitive information with careStrong written and verbal communication skills, including frequent phone and email communicationExcellent organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skillsComfort managing a fast-moving, high-volume pipeline in a fast-paced environmentSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environmentWhat We Prefer to Find:Someone with experience with Non-QM LoansSomeone with experience with processing DSCR loansSomeone with an Associate and/or bachelor’s degree in business or a related industry area majorSomeone with experience with Calyx Point and SalesForce
