Overview:A Remote Dental Scribe provides real-time documentation support to dentists by accurately recording patient encounters, procedures, and clinical notes. This role ensures efficient workflow, reduces administrative burden for providers, and maintains accurate, compliant dental records.Key Responsibilities:Document patient visits in real-time during virtual or recorded dental consultationsAccurately enter clinical notes into dental EHR/EMR systems (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental)Record patient history, chief complaints, treatment plans, and procedure detailsAssist in chart preparation before appointments (reviewing patient records, previous notes, and treatment history)Ensure completeness and accuracy of documentation following provider instructionsMaintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all timesFlag incomplete or missing information for provider reviewSupport administrative tasks such as updating patient charts, uploading documents, and organizing records.Qualifications:Previous experience as a Dental Scribe, Dental Assistant, or Medical Scribe (preferred)Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and workflowsExperience with dental software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or similarExcellent listening, typing, and documentation skills (high WPM preferred)Strong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentGood English communication skills (written and verbal)Familiarity with HIPAA and data privacy standardsPlease note: This job post does not guarantee immediate client onboarding.
