Responsibilities

*Part-Time Appointment Setter Trainer - High-Ticket Sales *Remote | 20 Hours Per Week to start, Potential to go fulltime. We’re looking for an experienced Appointment Setter Trainer to improve the performance of our appointment-setting team inside an established high-ticket education company. We already have an Appointment Setting Manager responsible for running the department. This role is different. Your responsibility is to make our setters better at converting leads into qualified live sales conversations through call coaching, roleplays, training and performance development. This is not a general sales coaching position. We want someone who understands appointment setting at a high level and can listen to a call, quickly identify what is going wrong, and coach the setter on exactly how to improve it. What You’ll Own Setter Training You’ll run structured training designed to improve: • qualification • call control • discovery • tonality • objection handling • booking ability • urgency • confidence • live HOT transfers • follow-up conversations • script and process adherence Training should be practical and directly connected to the calls our team is having every day. Call Reviews & Coaching You’ll regularly review recorded setter calls and identify: • missed booking opportunities • missed HOT transfer opportunities • weak discovery • poor qualification • objection-handling mistakes • weak tonality or call control • unnecessary call drop-off • failure to follow the process • individual skill gaps You’ll then turn those findings into specific coaching, drills and roleplays. The goal is not simply to tell setters what they did wrong. The goal is to change their behaviour and improve their numbers. Roleplays & Skill Development You’ll run regular individual and team roleplays around the situations setters encounter most often. This includes: • difficult prospects • common objections • hesitant leads • partner objections • timing objections • transferring prospects to closers • recovering calls that are going off track We want setters becoming better through deliberate practice, not just attending training calls. HOT Transfer Performance A major part of our process is transferring qualified prospects directly to our sales team when the opportunity is there. You’ll help setters improve: • identifying when a lead is ready • positioning the transfer • creating urgency • transitioning naturally to the closer • overcoming resistance to speaking immediately • increasing qualified HOT transfers Performance Improvement You’ll work closely with our Appointment Setting Manager to identify the largest skill-related constraints inside the department. You may focus on improving: • qualified live conversations per setter • booking percentage • HOT transfer percentage • call quality • objection handling • qualification quality • new setter ramp time • performance of struggling setters We want someone who thinks in terms of: What skill is limiting performance, and how do we fix it? What You Will Not Own Our Appointment Setting Manager remains responsible for running the department and hitting the overall department targets. This role does not primarily own: • team scheduling • hiring and firing • payroll • daily department management • general administration • overall department accountability Your lane is clear: Training, coaching and setter skill development. Who We’re Looking For: We’re looking for someone with recent hands-on experience training appointment setters, SDRs or similar sales development teams. Ideally, you have experience as one or more of the following: • high-performing appointment setter • appointment setter trainer • setter manager • SDR trainer • high-ticket sales trainer For the setter trainer I want an A-player. Must have: 3+ years appointment setting / SDR experience 1–2+ years training or coaching setters Personally been a strong setter before Experience coaching a team of at least 5+ setters High-ticket sales experience preferred Inbound paid lead experience preferred HOT / live transfer experience is a big plus Can prove they improved team performance with real numbers Strong at call reviews, role plays, objection handling and coaching Standards: Very high standards Direct communicator Data driven Great at spotting call issues fast Proactive Doesn’t need to be chased Strong sales instincts Good at coaching both weak and strong setters Can work alongside as without trying to run the department Experience with high-ticket coaching, consulting, education, info products or inbound sales is highly preferred. Experience coaching a team of 5+ setters is also preferred. You should understand that the goal is not simply to book calendars. The goal is to create qualified sales conversations that convert into revenue. You Should Be Excellent At • appointment setting • coaching • call review • roleplays • objection handling • qualification • tonality • call control • live transfers • diagnosing performance issues • giving direct feedback • developing underperformers • improving already-good setters What Success Looks Like Within your first few months, we should see: • stronger setter call quality • better objection handling • better qualification • more qualified bookings • more HOT transfers • fewer missed opportunities • better consistency across the team • faster improvement from struggling setters • faster ramp-up of new setters • higher qualified live conversations per setter Most importantly: Setter performance should measurably improve because of your coaching. About Us We are an established high-ticket e-commerce education company generating the majority of our leads through paid advertising. We have operated for several years and generated eight figures in annual revenue. We have dedicated teams across: • marketing • appointment setting • sales • coaching and fulfilment • operations We are actively strengthening our management, sales and operating systems as we scale into our next stage of growth. Hours Approximately 20 hours per week. ($35-$40/hour + bonuses + Performance - Based Commission) This is a part-time position. You’ll need some overlap with our setter team’s working hours to conduct training, call reviews and live roleplays. Compensation Competitive compensation based on experience and track record. We’re willing to pay well for someone who has genuinely trained high-performing appointment-setting teams and can demonstrate measurable results.
