Zscaler is seeking an experienced AI/ML Research Leader (Senior Director to Vice President) to drive significant progress in AI, ML, and Data Science. The ideal candidate will lead research to advance the science and technology of intelligent machines, drive technical excellence and innovation within the AI/ML organization, and contribute to research that can be applied to AI/ML product engineering & development. This role offers the opportunity to join a centralized organization that informs business decisions and improves Zscaler products and user experiences through data insights, predictive models, experimentation, and analytics. Responsibilities: - Lead research to advance the science and technology of intelligent machines. - Lead research that enables learning the semantics of data (images, video, text, audio, speech, and other modalities). - Drive technical excellence and innovation within the AI/ML organization, promoting leading-edge AI and ML technologies and best practices. - Devise better data-driven models of human behavior. - Work towards long-term ambitious research goals, while identifying intermediate milestones. - Influence progress of relevant research communities by producing publications. - Contribute research that can be applied to AI/ML product engineering & development. - Lead and collaborate on research projects within a globally based team.
