Our SQL Server Database Developers/Administrators are responsible for the design, implementation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of critical SQL Server RDBMS systems. The main goal is to ensure the availability, security, scalability, and consistent performance of our corporate applications and data platforms.

👨💻Responsibilities about the project:
* Design, develop, and maintain relational and non-relational databases to support business applications.
* Monitor database health and performance, ensuring high levels of availability, reliability, and security.
* Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve database issues in real time.
* Refine and automate recurring processes, track issues, and document changes.
* Write efficient and reusable SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
* Provide guidance and assistance to developers with query optimization, indexing, and schema refinement.
* Optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and schema refinement.
* Create and maintain data models aligned with application specifications and business needs.
* Ensure data integrity, security, and availability across environments.
* Support development teams with database integration in applications and services.
* Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in development, testing, and production environments.
* Assist with deployment activities, database migrations, and post-release support.
* Maintain documentation of database schemas, procedures, and standards.
* Perform post-release and post-implementation reviews to ensure database reliability and scalability.
* Provide 24/7 support for critical production systems when required.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Product Owners) throughout the software development lifecycle.
📜Requirements:
* Minimum 4 years of experience as a Database Developer or Database Administrator.
* Strong expertise in SQL Server and Azure SQL Database (other RDBMS experience is a plus: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle).
* Solid knowledge of database design, normalization, and data modeling.
* Hands-on experience writing queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
* Proficiency in performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies.
* Experience in database security, roles, permissions, and encryption.
* Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration between systems.
* Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools like Azure DevOps or Jira.
* Knowledge of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
* Ability to support both front-end and back-end data requirements.
* Demonstrated expertise in continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) for databases.
* Knowledge of cloud development and deployment (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
* Exposure to automation tools for database testing, migration, and monitoring.
* Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD) in database context.
🏅Bonus Skills:
* Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.).
* Experience with data warehousing and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake).
* English Level: Upper intermediate to advanced.
* Understanding of data governance, accessibility, and compliance standards.
* MCTS, MCITP, CDMP and/or MVP certifications a plus.
* Scrum certifications.
