We are EVERSANA.Job DescriptionThe National Director of Field Reimbursement is responsible for the development and performance of all field reimbursement activities with the assigned partner. This position builds and manages a team of Regional Access Directors and provides leadership towards the achievement of our partner's objectives in line with company vision and values. The National Director will identify market opportunities and challenges, then develop, implement, and follow through on action plans that address them through the team, including coaching team members to support corporate growth. In addition to the critical management and leadership tasks listed above, this role also includes the following unique responsibilities:Coach, mentor, educate and develop direct and indirect team members to enhance individual skills and elevate overall team performanceHold direct reports accountable to behaviors and expectationsInterview, select and supervise the activities of the department staff; communicate interpret and discuss with team the company policies and procedures.Day to day management of entire field reimbursement leadership and teamDetermine job objectives, work methods, and performance standards; review performance relative to departmental objectives; engage in performance appraisal discussions with each employee; authorize and communicate salary changes, promotions, transfers, discipline and discharge and administer all other personnel actions.EXPECTATIONS OF THE JOB:The requirements below represent the experience, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities needed for this role.Highly effective organizational skills to balance multiple prioritiesAdvanced presentation skills for the delivery of corporate approved materialsAdvanced business analytical skills to identify trends, opportunities and threatsAbility to solve problems and determine actions to drive business or overcome challengesAbility to utilize corporate reporting tools and technologyMust have documented successful field reimbursement management resultsDemonstrates solid clinical product knowledgeBusiness analysis and planning skills that drive field reimbursement objectivesExcellent judgment and decision-making skillsAbility to articulate the scientific aspects of treatments and therapeutic areasProven ability to deliver candid, effective feedback and efficiently manage performanceAbility to develop talent for promotional opportunitiesAbility to create a culture of winning and full team engagementCollaborates and can influence without authority across organizations.QualificationsBachelor’s degree required.Healthcare degree strongly preferred, including MS, RN, PA, PharmD, PhD, or similar advanced healthcare/scientific degree.15+ years in pharmaceutical industry with experience in payer policy and product access.8+ years of experience in benefit verifications and/or prior-authorization requirements or equivalent experience in patient access.5+ years leading successful field access teams.Detailed understanding of both pharmacy and medical benefit product models.Knowledge of Centers of Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) policies and processes with experience in Medicare Parts B & D coverage.Knowledge and understanding of specialty markets, HUB/reimbursement services and patient access programs.Strong analytical skills to assess market dynamics, competitor activity, and continuous diabetes monitoring trends.
