The Project Manager, with limited supervision, coordinates multiple functional teams responsible for the creation, production, and delivery of curriculum and ancillary products.This position is an exceptional opportunity for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who possesses a commitment to Great Minds' organizational vision and who has experienced project management skills. While the work is remote and the ideal candidate will work well independently, this is a highly collaborative position, necessitating a strong sense of teamwork and cooperation.ResponsibilitiesImplement established Great Minds processes and procedures in alignment with industry best practices for project management across multiple projectsCreate, update, and manage all required project documentationCollaborate with stakeholders from multiple teams to define and document project scope and requirements through an iterative processWork with teams to determine resources needed to accomplish project goals within negotiated project timelineCreate and maintain detailed project plans and schedules in Smartsheet with dependenciesAnticipate, document, manage project risks, and develop risk mitigation strategiesManages change, including documentation of required scope changes and negotiating time adjustments as neededMonitors costs against the project budget and reports on variance to stakeholdersCultivates strong working relationships with cross-functional professionals throughout the organizationOther project support as neededRequirements3+ years working on cross-functional projectsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PPT), Microsoft SharePoint, or other similar collaboration softwareEffective analytical and interpersonal communication skillsExperience with project management principles and, ideally, Smartsheet or similar project management softwareSound organizational habits, necessary for successful goal setting, collaborative problem solving, deadline execution, and record keepingAbility to manage activities for multiple projects simultaneouslyAnticipate project roadblocks and develop creative solutions both within and across project to meet goalsAbility to make solutions-oriented decisions through flexible thinking in an ambiguous, fast-paced entrepreneurial environmentPreferredExperience working with metrics to develop charts and graphsExperience working with curriculum content or educational publishingAttributesDemonstrates personal accountability, urgency, and persistence in completing high-quality workPromotes a supportive environment across departmentsMaintains a positive, professional attitude under tight timelines and with multiple competing prioritiesSuccessful working independently and collaborativelyAbility to remain flexible in an ambiguous, fast-paced environmentReceptive to feedback with a focus on reflective practiceCommitment to high standards and continuous improvementWillingness to bring a proactive problem-solving orientation to every taskPassion for and commitment to the importance of high-quality, knowledge-rich curriculumDeep belief that every child is capable of greatnessRequired EducationBachelor's degree or equivalent experience
