The Vista Institute for AI Policy is hiring a Head of Operations.We founded the Vista Institute two years ago hoping to advance the knowledge related to the role of laws in navigating the challenges and benefits of advanced AI systems, as well as to ensure this knowledge reaches scholars and professionals working in this field.Today, we have trained 75+ law students, policy researchers, and government staffers; run two in-person AI Law & Policy Workshops, two expert roundtables, and three national security law crisis simulations at multiple US university campuses; and launched a fellowship pairing early-career researchers with leading experts.Demand for our programs is outpacing capacity, and this role (our 5th hire) will be central to how we sustainably scale.
