About the roleWe are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to join our team and build scalable automation solutions from the ground up. In this role, you’ll design and develop modern test frameworks using Playwright, TypeScript, and Python, while leveraging AI-powered development tools to improve speed, quality, and innovation. This is a remote position.ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain automation infrastructure and E2E frameworks from scratchDevelop automated tests for web applications using Playwright, TypeScript, and PythonWork closely with R&D and product teams throughout the development lifecycleLead test planning, design, and execution (E2E, integration)Support release processes and version validationLeverage AI tools (Cursor, Claude, Copilot, etc.) for test generation, debugging, and productivityPromote best practices and continuously improve automation strategiesRequirements4+ years of experience in web application testingProven experience building automation frameworks from scratchStrong hands-on experience with Playwright + TypeScriptStrong proficiency in PythonExperience with test planning (STP/STD) and test case designExperience working in agile environments and CI/CD pipelinesFamiliarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude, Copilot)Nice to have:Experience testing AI/ML or LLM-based systemsAPI and performance testing experienceWhat makes Verbit unique?Verbit is an AI-first company transforming spoken content into accessible and actionable insights.
