This position is responsible for monitoring and enhancing network performance, safeguarding security through advanced tools like IT Glue, Huntress, SentinelOne, Avanan, and Axcient, and strengthening our Microsoft security environment with best practices such as MFA and anti-phishing measures. The ideal candidate will lead the charge in supporting and mentoring junior engineers, handling escalations, executing proactive maintenance, documenting incidents, and driving process improvements and automation.Key Responsibilities: Monitor and analyze network performance, security alerts, server health, and application behavior to ensure optimal uptime and protection through the following tools:Documentation: IT GlueSecurity: Huntress, SentinelOne, AvananCloud Backups: AxcientSpecialize in hardening Microsoft security environments through methods such as:Upgrading password policiesImplementing multi-factor authentication (MFA)Deploying anti-phishing solutionsEnabling safe links and safe attachments featuresScope and support projects aimed at increasing Microsoft Secure Score and enhancing the overall security posture of the Microsoft suite and environment.Capable of interpreting Secure Score metrics and translating them into actionable improvementsServe as the primary escalation point for junior NOC engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and incident response leadership.Document all incidents, resolutions, and lessons learned in comprehensive incident reports, regularly updating SOPs for NOC activities.Execute and oversee network maintenance tasks, including updates, patching, configuration, and hardware replacement.Develop and implement automation for routine monitoring and troubleshooting tasks.Key QualificationsProven experience in IT administration and toolset management.Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 and Azure AD security architecture.Proven experience with Secure Score optimization across multiple tenants.Strong grasp of identity and access management (IAM), including MFA, conditional access, and SSPR 3Strong problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and documentation abilities.Ability to work collaboratively across departmentsWhat we do for youAt COURSER we prioritize our employees’ personal and professional development, offering best in class training, mentorship, and opportunities for growth through our self-promotion paths.
