Aprio Advisory Group, LLC is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Senior Accountant to join their dynamic team. Working in a highly experienced, high quality, collegial team of accounting professionals, the Senior Accountant will lead the monthly close process for a set of clients in the Nonprofit sector. This position involves training and overseeing the work of Staff Accountants while completing the most technically complex tasks on the engagement and working with the engagement manager to provide superior customer service. This is an excellent opportunity for a corporate or public accountant who wants a highly rewarding position that works with various companies helping them move their business forward.Position ResponsibilitiesEstablish and foster positive relationships with clientsEnsure timely communication as to project status both internally and externallyWork as part of a team to provide outsourced accounting services for multiple clientsPreparation of balance sheet account reconciliations, GAAP based financial statement packages and supporting analytical worksheetsPrepare and review monthly close entries including payroll, prepaid and liability accrualsEnsure that revenues and expenses are correctly allocated by program grant throughout the grant fund period where applicableBecome technically proficient in several cloud based accounting software systemsMonitor engagement progress and changes and communicate with manager and partner as neededWork independently in a highly flexible remote model utilizing MS TeamsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting required3-5 Years experience in AccountingNonprofit experience requiredExperience with QuickBooks and/or Sage Intacct preferredProficient in the use of ExcelExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSuperior time management and organization skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a highly flexible remote model utilizing MS TeamsDesire to provide top quality customer serviceSalary Range$90,000 - $115,000 a yearThe salary range for this opportunity is stated above.
