We’re young, purpose-driven, and ready to empower others.About the roleSocial Currant is seeking applications for a Creator Engagement Manager, reporting to the Chief Creator Officer. This position will develop and execute strategies to grow our ecosystem of values-aligned creators by thousands, and build the scalable infrastructure and support systems to ensure every Social Currant creator feels a part of our community. This full-time position is targeted to begin in April.Key focus areas of the roleCreator Engagement Strategy (40%)Cross-Department collaboration (25%)Creator Team Management (20%)Industry Network & Relationship Building (15%)ResponsibilitiesLead the development and oversee the execution of strategies to grow and support the Social Currant creator ecosystem, and deepen engagement with our current network of creators (including working across the Social Currant platform).Establish infrastructure to operationalize our “ladder of engagement” in partnership with the Product Team, moving creators from passive to highly active partners.Design and implement comprehensive creator acquisition, activation, and retention strategies.Build and manage a team (starting with a Creator Engagement Associate) to grow the network and meet KPIs set by the Social Currant Leadership team.Cultivate industry relationships to grow our network (including talent agencies, creators themselves, individual agents, creator economy companies, and more). This may include hosting events and/or attending industry events throughout the country.Work in partnership with the Accounts Team to understand industry trends, niches, and the types of creators they are targeting for client campaigns.Work in partnership with the Product Team to translate creator insights, engagement data, and lifecycle needs into platform improvements that support scalable creator acquisition, activation, and retention.Manage the Social Currant creator community as the primary point of contact for creators (outside of Accounts-driven client campaigns) as they move along the ladder of engagement.Build scalable processes and systems to support 4x ecosystem growth over the next two years.Develop creator education programs, resources, and best practices guides.Reports toEllie Artone, Co-Founder & Chief Creator Officer at Social Currant.Qualifications5+ years of experience in creator relations, influencer marketing, talent management, or community building.Proven track record of scaling creator communities.Strong understanding of the creator economy and the ability to translate insights into campaign-level strategies.Experience supervising direct reports.Passion and enthusiasm for progressive politics and social impact causes.Organized and excellent communication skills.Able to work in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment.Background working with mission-driven organizations or purpose-driven brands is a plus.Experience with data analysis is a plus.Experience in startups or organizations with under 20 employees is a plus.Experience working in a tech/product environment is a plus.Metrics of SuccessNetwork Growth: Number of new creators added monthly/quarterlyActivation Rate: % of creators who complete their first campaign within 90 daysRetention Rate: % of creators who remain active within campaigns and/or SC community programs year-over-yearCampaign Participation: Average number of campaigns per creatorCreator Satisfaction: NPS (net promoter score) or satisfaction score from creator surveysQuality of Recruits: Performance metrics of newly recruited creatorsPartnership Pipeline: Number of agency/platform partnerships establishedTeam Performance: Achievement of direct report KPIs and team development goalsCompensation & BenefitsFull-time employment: $80,000 annual salary2 PTO days accrued per month (24 days/year), 10 sick days/year, 2 floating holidaysOpportunity to travel for in-person team retreats, conferences, etc.Health, dental, vision, and 401(k) planProfessional development and home office stipends
