Requirements and responsibilities

At Meadow, we’re reimagining end-of-life care - a $23B industry untouched by modern software or service thinking. In under a year, we became the largest cremation provider in Los Angeles, with 80+ NPS and hundreds of families served monthly. Now we’re scaling across the U.S. and hiring globally. We believe great people live everywhere. Our team works across continents and time zones, grounded by shared values: high standards, deep empathy, and a drive to do work that matters.Learn more about our global teams here. If this sounds like your kind of team, we'd love to hear from you.About the RoleAs an Inbound Sales Representative, you’ll be the first voice families hear when they reach out. You’ll guide them with clarity and compassion - no cold calls or pushy tactics, just meaningful conversations that help people make one of life’s most important decisions with confidence. This is a sales role: you're responsible for helping families decide and for closing - always with genuine care, never pressure. Depending on team needs and performance, this role may include a mix of inbound sales conversations, returning lead follow-up, and support work that helps the broader sales process run smoothly. We hire for strong sales potential, and top performers can grow into expanded responsibilities over time.A quick note, because many candidates wonder about it: People often assume this work is emotionally heavy, but our team consistently finds it deeply meaningful and surprisingly uplifting. The role is rooted in hospitality, clarity, and human connection, not sadness. Rather than feeling heavy, the work offers a unique sense of purpose as part of a modern, compassionate company transforming an outdated industry and bringing dignity, transparency, and warmth to families across the country. What You’ll DoHandle warm inbound leads and support families through the sales process with clarity, empathy, and strong follow-through.Guide families through cremation options, helping them make a confident decision when possible and ensuring thoughtful follow-up when more time is needed.Manage returning leads and follow-up conversations across phone, text, and email so no family falls through the cracks.Contribute to queue coverage, sales activities, and related support workflows that improve the overall customer experience.Hit performance targets while maintaining strong conversion outcomes and quality scores.Move fluently across our stack - HubSpot, Aircall, GSuite, Slack, and our case management system.Requirements2+ years of sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding individual targets - managing the full sales cycle and closing, ideally consumer (B2C) sales over the phone.Strong sales instincts and phone presence: you can guide a live conversation toward a confident decision, handle objections naturally, and build trust with families while balancing sales conversations with follow-up and support work.Clear spoken and written English; you explain options simply and warmly.Self-driven and results-focused: you track where you stand against your target and adjust when you're behind. Emotionally steady and highly coachableComfortable working independently and managing a consistent follow-up rhythm.Familiarity with HubSpot or comparable CRMs (Salesforce, Zoho, etc.).A home setup that supports the work - see our tech requirements for details.Bonus PointsExperience selling in high-trust categories (insurance, healthcare, travel, etc.).Spanish fluency — many of the families we serve speak it.Details:Remote, full-timeCompensation: $6-$9 OTETools: HubSpot (CRM), Aircall (phone), Slack, and our case management systemSchedule:Full-time, 8-hour shifts on a consistent weekly scheduleDays: Monday–Friday, Tuesday–Saturday, or Sunday–Thursday (weekend availability a plus)Available shift windows:AM (start 6–8am EST)PM (start 1–4pm EST)Night (start 8–10pm EST)Why You’ll Love Working With Us:We’re a real business, built to last.
