Requirements and responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Data Modeller to join a Microsoft Fabric data platform programme for a large enterprise client. This role is perfect for someone with strong dimensional modelling experience, modern cloud data platform expertise, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into trusted, reusable data assets.Role Highlights:Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise onboarding and analytics.Implement Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers using Medallion Architecture principles.Collaborate with Data Engineers, Analytics Engineers, and Power BI teams for semantic model alignment.Define conformed dimensions, facts, hierarchies, and reusable datasets.Support governance practices, metadata standards, and data quality frameworks.Required Skills:Enterprise data modelling & data warehousing experience.Dimensional modelling (facts, dimensions, star schema, conformed dimensions).Strong SQL and understanding of cloud/Lakehouse platforms.Experience with analytics-ready dataset design for BI & reporting.Preferred Skills:Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse & Warehouse), OneLake, Power BI semantic models.Delta Lake, Microsoft Purview, Azure data services.Agile delivery experience & data product-oriented mindset.If you are passionate about shaping enterprise data models and enabling trusted, reusable data assets, we would love to hear from you!Email: [devakumar.d@smartitframe.com]WhatsApp: [+91-8925894809]
