We seek a detail-oriented Accountant to oversee our general accounting. The role involves full ownership of accounting operations and AP policy implementation. The candidate should excel at being detail-oriented, problem-solving, reconciling, and communicating with vendors.This role will be working from home permanently and during U.S. PST business hours.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAccounts Payable Review and record vendor invoices; manage AP aging and weekly paymentsOnboarding of new vendorsReconciliation of vendor statementsProfessional and timely Vendor communicationsSupport collections efforts on past-due accountsGeneral Accounting & Month-End ClosePrepare and post journal entries (accruals, prepaids, payroll, reclasses)Maintain and reconcile the general ledgerOwn bank and credit card reconciliations monthlyPrepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliationsFinancial ReportingAssist in the preparation of monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)Reconciliation of clearing accountsMaintain schedules for accruals, prepaids, and fixed assetsEnsure timely and accurate close processesProcess & ComplianceImprove and document accounting procedures and internal controlsSupport annual audits and tax filings with external CPAsEnsure compliance with GAAP and company policiesRequirementsMust havesBachelor's degree in Accounting5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in CPG or a high-growth environment, working on smaller teams.Strong understanding of AP, AR, inventory management, and financial reporting.Proven ability to develop and implement financial policies and strategies.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in scenario analysis and forecasting.Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel.Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to handle high AP volume efficiently.Hireframe provides nearshore and offshore staffing solutions, operating as a remote-first organization with team members located in the United States, Mexico, and the Philippines.
