At SteadyMD, we value diversity and inclusivity, striving to create a welcoming environment for clinicians from all backgrounds.You could have the opportunity to provide care on a number of programs that fit your interest and experience: Weight LossUrgent CarePrimary CareFunctional MedicineJust to name a few!Position Overview:Role: Nurse Practitioner for Virtual Patient CareVisit types: A combination of asynchronous and synchronous [majority async]Location: Fully RemoteSchedule: Available 10 hours a week, scheduling is flexibleCompensation: Approximately $60/hourImportant Note: This is a 1099 contractor opportunity, provided that, this classification and rate of pay are subject to change based on the clinicians state of residence, applicable state employment and worker classification regulations, and the clinicians availability and involvement with SteadyMD, to ensure compliance with state-specific labor and wage requirements.Some Responsibilities Include:Conduct initial intake evaluation video visits with new patients (ages 18+).Holistically evaluate patients, review labs, and prescribe weight loss medications when appropriate, primarily GLP-1 agonists.Work with a diverse patient population, emphasizing inclusivity and evidence-based care.Regularly check and respond to patient inquiries via the patient portal and asynchronous chat.Manage prescription refills and chronic condition management.RequirementsActive Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in at least 1 of the following states: AZ, CA, FL, NC, NY, IL, TX, VAMust be licensed in the state you live inBoard Certified (AGNP-BC or FNP-BC) by the ANCC or AANP2 years of in-person, independent practice experience as an NP1-year experience in weight loss medicine, including prescribing GLP1 agonists preferred.Background in Internal or Family Medicine preferredComfortable with complex chronic condition management preferenceTelemedicine or virtual care experience is preferredBenefitsFully Remote work with flexible hoursFocus on patient care and leave the administrative work to usMalpractice insurance provided, including tail coverageStartup environment focused on real healthcare innovation and disrupting the status quoOur Hiring Process – A Journey Worth Taking:At SteadyMD, our hiring process is as unique as our approach to healthcare.
