This role is responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping, reconciliations, accounts payable, payroll support, and assisting with month-end close.You will work closely with an Accounting Manager while also interacting directly with clients via Slack, email, and occasional calls.Responsibilities:Code daily transactions accurately in QuickBooks Online (QBO)Perform bank and credit card reconciliationsManage accounts payable processes (Bill.com, bill runs)Record payroll entries and accrualsSupport month-end close activitiesAssist with financial reporting and client deliverablesCommunicate with clients via Slack and emailParticipate in client calls (support role, not leading)Requirements2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experienceHands-on experience with: Accounts Payable (AP), payroll processing and journal entries, account reconciliationsExperience supporting month-end closeAbility to manage work across multiple clients simultaneouslyStrong QuickBooks Online (QBO) experienceStrong Excel skills (comfortable with formulas, data handling)Proven experience with AP and payrollSolid understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP)Experience working in a multi-client environmentStrong communication skills with client-facing experienceE-commerce accounting experience preferred (Shopify, Amazon)Deep experience with Shopify/Amazon reconciliations preferredExposure to inventory accounting (ownership not required)BenefitsAccess to a $200K+ perk marketplace with discounts on 150+ global services.Option to withdraw up to 50% of approved earnings before payday.
