Job Description A Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately entering, updating, maintaining, and verifying information in computer systems and databases. The role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality, and proficiency in data management software and office applications. Key Responsibilities *Enter data accurately into company databases, spreadsheets, and management systems. *Review and verify data for errors, inconsistencies, or missing information. *Update and maintain records to ensure information remains accurate and current. *Organize, file, and retrieve documents as required. *Prepare reports, summaries, and data extracts for management. *Scan, upload, and manage electronic documents. *Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and customer information. *Respond to requests for information and data retrieval. *Perform regular quality checks to ensure data accuracy. *Assist with administrative and clerical duties as assigned. *Collaborate with other departments to collect and verify information. *Ensure compliance with company policies and data protection procedures.
