Responsibilities
* Drive DevOps program initiatives. Lead secure tech implementation. Direct DevOps implementations to be aligned with planned roadmap and standards.
* Partner with developer teams to create shared solutions for DevOps needs across IDS. Ensure that the DevOps tools are secure and used in a secure manner. Collaborate and investigate to understand developer needs and use-cases.
* Implement methods to measure the capabilities of our toolkit, to drive continuous improvement
* Follow principles and standards for DevOps based on anticipated and repeated needs across projects. Document and advocate these principles, guidelines, patterns, and methodologies while ensuring they are well understood and adopted.
Requirements and Technical Skills
* BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering or related discipline and three (3) years of specific experience OR at least five (5) years of relevant experience
* Amazon AWS, Azure or GCP
* Linux and Windows technology stacks (i.e. Ubuntu, Windows Server, Nginx,
Apache, MySQL, PHP, IIS, MS SQL, .NET, etc.)
* Solid knowledge and usage of version control and release management concepts and tools,
particularly Git (Github / SVN/Bitbucket)
* Fluency with Modern Auth (OIDC, SSO, SAML, Federation)
* Experience in software development – programming and scripting in languages such as Python,
Ruby, Java, .NET as well as MySQL, Git, bash, etc
* Experience in building and supporting solutions both for serverless and server-based infrastructure
* Ability to follow deployment practices using CICD Processes and Technologies such as Jenkins (others like TeamCity, Tekton, Spinnaker, Octopus, CodeDeploy, Automate are a plus)
* Knowledge of serverless technologies (RDS, Lambda, SNS, SQS, S3, EKS, GKE, BigTable, Azure AD, Azure B2C, API Gateway, CloudFront, Lambda)
* Strong advocate of security principles and tools
