Responsibilities

We are Dizzain.com, a full-cycle digital agency. Since 2006, we have been solving business challenges through development, design, marketing, and analytics, using AI and a data-driven approach to accelerate and scale projects. We are currently expanding our team and introducing a new CTO role responsible for the engineering side of all our projects: what technical decisions are made, how the engineering team operates, and how AI tools are integrated into the development process. Key Responsibilities: Technical Solutions & Standards - Determine how a problem should be solved technically and take ownership of that decision with both the team and the client. - Bring multiple solution options with clear trade-offs rather than presenting a single answer. - Review estimates and timelines: understand what they are based on and identify potential risks. - Set the company’s engineering standards – not processes for the sake of processes, but systems and code that are easy for both people and agents to work with and build upon. Processes & AI - Work directly with AI agents rather than through developers. - Design the entire development pipeline: task definition, generation, cross-review by different models, and automated testing. - Define where human decisions are still necessary and consciously reduce those points over time. - Restructure development processes by addressing root causes rather than symptoms: identify duplicated work, inefficient task allocation, and gaps between adjacent areas. - Own the overall quality of the output, including architectural integrity across long sequences of changes. - Analyze project data to identify exactly where the team is losing time. Team - Take ownership of technical decisions that Project Managers currently have to make themselves. - Be responsible for the team’s technical growth and development trajectory. Clients - Join selected meetings when technical decisions need to be explained or defended to the client’s technical stakeholders. - Regular client communication remains the responsibility of Project Managers. What We're Looking For: - Experience & Leadership: 8+ years in engineering with a strong hands-on development background, including 3+ years as a Tech Lead, Head of Engineering, or CTO, with direct responsibility for architectural and technical decisions. - AI in Development: Hands-on experience over the past two years. Not just using AI assistants, but actually restructuring development processes around AI agents. - Process Transformation: Practical experience redesigning and improving development processes, rather than simply working within established frameworks. - Product Judgment: The ability to determine not only how to build something, but also what is actually worth building. - Technical Breadth: E-commerce and complex web applications as the core domain, plus integrations, infrastructure, and data. - English: Fluent, with the ability to clearly explain, argue for, and defend technical decisions with client stakeholders in the US.
