As a Senior Back End Software Engineer, you will be responsible for creating efficient code, improving server-side applications and databases, and collaborating with front-end developers to enhance the user experience. If you have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, 4+ years of backend experience, and experience with programming languages such as C#, Java, and/or Scala, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities: - Create efficient code and improve server-side applications and databases - Write web services and API’s used by front-end web and mobile developers - Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive code to enhance the user experience - Define and communicate technical and design requirements - Build high-quality reusable code that can be used in the future - Conduct unit tests, code reviews, refactor the current source code, assess and improve application performance, and maintain design and code documentation
