Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Servicing Manager to lead and oversee our loan servicing operations. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of post-closing loan servicing, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and delivering a superior borrower experience. The Servicing Manager will develop processes, lead a team, and work cross-functionally to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and accountability in servicing operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee all aspects of loan servicing, including payment processing, escrow administration, investor reporting, and default management.
* Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and agency servicing regulations.
* Lead, coach, and develop a servicing team to meet performance and compliance goals.
* Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Compliance, Finance, and Secondary Marketing) to ensure seamless servicing operations.
* Manage third-party servicing relationships, vendors, and auditors as needed.
* Monitor portfolio performance and implement strategies to improve borrower satisfaction and retention.
* Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and reporting to support company growth and efficiency.
* Serve as the subject matter expert for servicing operations and represent the department in executive-level discussions.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 5–7 years of mortgage loan servicing experience, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
* Strong knowledge of servicing regulations (CFPB, RESPA, TILA, FHA, VA, Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac guidelines preferred).
* Experience with escrow, loss mitigation, and investor reporting processes.
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor, and motivate a team.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate effectively across departments.
* Proficiency in loan servicing software systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
