CDR Maguire Engineering is seeking to hire full-time Survey Assistants to join the Survey Team in the Williamsport, PA area. This position will work directly for experienced Licensed Surveyors and collaboratively with other surveyors and engineers on projects for state, regional, local, and private clients.
Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a survey crew to collect topography and field stake out features using various types of survey equipment such as levels, total stations, GPS, and UAS
- Collect field notes using both paper and electronic field books
- Process field collected data using computer software
- Base plan creation and drafting in AutoCAD and Microstation CAD platforms
- Research deeds and maps at the courthouse
- Use and maintain state of the art survey equipment
