Requirements and responsibilities


Responsibilities: Core Duties: • Analyze functional and technical requirements, translating them into scalable solutions. • Design, integrate, and implement EDI solutions that align with business objectives. • Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple international locations to support system enhancements. • Document service offerings, write functional specifications, and maintain detailed project records. • Manage EDI project timelines, change tracking, and status updates. • Lead implementation efforts and testing activities, ensuring solution quality and user readiness. • Stay current on industry trends, proactively proposing improvements and innovations. • Ensure solutions and documentation are up to date and aligned with company standards. Key Accountabilities: - Deliver EDI-related solutions and ensure project milestones are met within time, budget, and scope. - Apply standard IT practices and methodologies to evaluate needs and define technical specifications. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex or undefined application issues using structured methodologies. - Develop functional requirements, test plans, and support software development processes. - Assist in system setup and light configuration, including data archiving and applying workarounds. - Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. - Apply core IT knowledge to solve moderately complex challenges and contribute to team deliverables. Qualifications: Skills & Competencies: • Proven experience in business analysis and functional documentation. • Familiarity with the logistics, transportation, or supply chain industries (preferred, not required). • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects under pressure. • A global mindset and excellent communication skills across cultures and functions. • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. • Basic SQL knowledge. Nice to Have: • Experience with API integration projects. • Understanding of common data transfer protocols (FTP, SFTP, HTTP). • Familiarity with webMethods Integration Server. • Experience with EDI standards such as EDIFACT, ANSI X12, XML, and flat files. Language Requirements: • Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required. • French or other languages are a plus. Experience: • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role (e.g., solution expert, product owner, or IT business analyst).
