ALIVATION HEALTH, LLC is seeking a Board Certified Psychologist to join their Medical Team. The ideal candidate will have a perceptive passion to promote, restore, and protect the mental health of individuals and their families in a collaborative team environment. They should be compassionate, eager, and committed to making a difference every day. The Psychologist will play an important role on the Medical Team, implementing and supporting the practice mission and strategic vision within respective departments. They will also handle confidential information, provide routine diagnostic and therapeutic care for patients, maintain a patient case load, and have specialized training in a clinical area. Additionally, the Psychologist will implement treatment plans that utilize Alivation’s Integrated Care offerings and may be asked to be a Primary Investigator or Sub-Investigator on Research Studies. The ideal candidate will have a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) Degree from an accredited program, completed post-doctoral training under supervision, and be board certified. Three years of previous experience in out-patient psychology is required, and experience across the entire spectrum of age groups, including pediatrics and geriatrics, is a plus. Responsibilities: - Implements and supports the practice mission and strategic vision within respective departments. - Handles confidential information requiring professional discretion and compliance with protected health information, data integrity, and security policies. - Provides routine diagnostic, therapeutic, and emergency care for patients. - Maintains a patient case load and has specialized training in a clinical area. - Confers with patients, families, agencies, and pharmacies regarding patient care. - Provides patient medication management and education regarding prescription effects and side effects. - Implements treatment plans that utilize Alivation’s Integrated Care offerings including, but not limited to, Primary Care, On-Site Pharmacy, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, Pharmacogenetic Testing, Telehealth, Research, Remote Patient Monitoring, and others. - May be asked to be a Primary Investigator or Sub-Investigator on Research Studies. - Meticulously documents patient-related administrative and clinical documentation in electronic medical records system. - Demonstrates critical thinking and function under stressful or emergent situations. - Demonstrates adaptability to changing work demands in terms of priorities that necessitate personal initiative. - Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills, active listening skills, verbal, and written communication skills, patience, and trustworthiness to effectively share knowledge with Chief Medical Officer, Psychiatrist, Neuropsychologist, Family Practice Physician, medical staff, student residents, patients, families, visitors, and the broader health care community. - Demonstrates competence in Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities that service to maintain, develop, or increase knowledge, skills, and professional performance. - Other clinical or administrative duties as assigned by Chief Medical Officer to meet practice needs.
