We are looking for a Sr. Data Strategist to be an integral part of the data team responsible for providing Tropic’s targets, customers, partners and other relevant external stakeholders exceptional value from our data assets. The Sr. Data Strategist will be directly responsible for driving our strategic data discovery, acquisition, analysis, and execution efforts in partnership with product, engineering, and operations teams.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain Tropic’s data-led growth strategy and corresponding roadmap, in partnership with the VP/GM of Data and the Tropic leadership team
- Propose innovative data solutions to directly impact our current and future customers’ business outcomes; identify new datasets that Tropic should invest in to bring these innovation data solutions to our targets and customers
- Define and execute the implementation plans to acquire, prepare, analyze / ‘connect the dots’, and develop innovative, value-adding data solutions, in partnership with Product, Engineering, Operations, Sales, and Marketing teams
- Identify any/all improvement opportunities across the data value-chain (acquisition, commercialization, operations, etc.), work with the VP/GM of Data to prioritize, improve, and maintain the backlog
- Be the primary champion of data-centricity; lead the efforts to increase data maturity at Tropic
