Requirements and responsibilities


About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Engineer to support our EU workforce by resolving end-user issues, identifying root causes, enhancing service quality, and automating repetitive tasks. You will coordinate closely with our outsourced L1 support team, taking ownership of escalations and ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery. This role requires strong expertise in Windows, Mac, and Linux administration, automation, and basic networking. You will support both end users and site-level infrastructure while helping build knowledge resources that enable self-service and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Automation & Optimization * Design and implement automation for common tasks using PowerShell, Bash, Intune, Autopilot, SCCM, and APIs. * Automate device provisioning, onboarding and offboarding, software deployment, and routine admin tasks. * Contribute to broader automation and integration initiatives across Global IT. Break/Fix & Technical Support * Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in collaboration with L1 support, IT streams, and application owners. * Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve tickets within SLA and KPI targets. * Ensure local IT operations align with global IT standards and policies. Documentation & Data Analytics * Partner with the L1 vendor to ensure high and consistent service quality. * Develop knowledge articles, SOPs, and triage guides following IT documentation standards. * Use ticketing and monitoring data to identify recurring problems and recommend improvements. * Participate in service review meetings with data-driven insights. Asset Management * Ensure endpoint devices are correctly recorded, maintained, and compliant across their lifecycle. Networking Support * Perform basic network troubleshooting (DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing, firewall rules). * Work with network teams to resolve connectivity issues and maintain secure and stable endpoints. Required Skills & Experience * Strong PowerShell and scripting experience. * Hands-on Intune administration. * Autopilot deployment and configuration. * GPO troubleshooting. * Windows OS administration. * Documentation creation (KB articles, SOPs, technical guides). * Proficiency in Windows, Mac, and Linux support. * Experience with Azure environments. * Basic networking troubleshooting. * Understanding of ITIL best practices.
