Why This Role Stands OutAct as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through complex security and compliance challenges.Be the go-to Microsoft security expert on a team that values innovation and expertise.Join a recognized leader in government and cloud security (FedRAMP 3PAO, CMMC C3PAO, Microsoft Government Cloud Partner).Influence architecture, lead solution design, and deliver impactful outcomes for client organizations.Work with forward-thinking professionals in a culture that values learning, agility, and purpose.What You’ll DoOwn the client relationship from discovery through delivery—serve as the primary technical consultant.Lead workshops, architecture sessions, and demos to translate client needs into actionable solutions.Design, deploy, and support Microsoft security solutions across M365 and Azure, including: Entra ID, Teams, Defender, Intune, Purview, SharePoint, Exchange, Azure Defender for Cloud, Sentinel (KQL, Graph, PowerShell)Develop security strategies aligned with frameworks like CMMC, NIST 800-171, and NIST 800-53.Architect and implement Zero Trust strategies, XDR deployments, and threat modeling frameworks for mid-market and enterprise clients. Ensure compliance while improving operational security—deliver measurable business value.What You BringBachelors degree or equivalent experience.7-10+ years of consulting experience, partnering with clients to deliver tailored solutions.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills—comfortable leading client conversations.Deep understanding of core cybersecurity principles: zero trust, privileged access, APT threats, credential theft, and just-in-time administration.Deep expertise in at least 3 of the following areas, with working knowledge of others:1. Identity & Access: Entra ID, Conditional Access, PIM, JIT2. Threat Protection: Defender XDR suite, Sentinel, threat hunting3. Data Protection: Purview, DLP, Sensitivity Labels, DSPM4. Cloud Security: Azure Defender for Cloud, security posture management5. Automation & Scripting: KQL, PowerShell, Microsoft Graph APICertifications (Required – at least 2):AZ-500AZ-305SC-100SC-200SC-300SC-401Note: Active certifications are required for considerationSalary Range$150,000 - $200,000 a yearThe salary range for this opportunity is stated above.
