We collaborate with customers to strategize, navigate, and accelerate an ideal path forward with a digital transformation via assessments, migration, or modernization.As the Project Manager, you will be responsible to lead a large-scale Data Center Migration and Modernization project focused on transitioning workloads, applications, and infrastructure to AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong project management expertise, hands-on experience delivering cloud migration programs, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional engineering, architecture, security and business teams.What you will doLead end-to-end planning and execution of the data center migration to AWS, including assessment, discovery, design, migration waves, and stabilization.Drive modernization initiatives including containerization, refactoring, re-platforming, and automation improvements.Develop and maintain project plans, migration wave schedules, RAID logs, communication plans, and status reports.Ensure activities align with cloud adoption frameworks, enterprise architecture guidelines, and client business objectives.Track scope, priorities, risks, dependencies, delays and deliverables across multiple workstreams.Serve as the primary point of contact between engineering teams, leadership, and client stakeholders.Conduct steering committee meetings, sprint reviews, and technical workstream syncs.Align cross-functional teams including cloud architects, network/security teams, DevOps, and application owners.Manage vendor relationships and third-party integrators involved in migration execution.Conduct daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint retrospective meetingFacilitate internal and external architecture discussions, review calls, and document decisions with the teams who work in India and three timezones in the USProactively create meeting notes, weekly customer presentations, and organize project documents and recorded callsReview and approve employee timesheets, leaves and perform team calendar managementEnable customer success by proactively communicating project status, risks, requestsTake ownership of customer escalations and facilitate the resolutionNegotiate the scope changes in the project by producing appropriate project documentationWhat are we looking for3+ years of proven experience leading data center migration to AWS5+ years of experience as a Project manager or scrum master with customers in US timezonesStrong understanding of AWS cloud services, landing zones, VPC/ networking, IAM, EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, EKS/ECS and migration toolsExpertise in using Smartsheet, Jira / Confluence, ClockifyExcellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skillsExpertise in managing internal and external teamsStrong prioritization and problem-solving skillsYou will be preferred if you possesExperience in cloud migration projects on AWSSolution Architect Associate CertificationProfessional Scrum Master certificationManaging Jira Projects certificationSmartsheet CertificationLife at MactoresWe care about creating a culture that makes a real difference in the lives of every Mactorian.
