Through research, advocacy, and strategic communications, Higher Heights works to elevate Black women’s voices and ensure their leadership is visible, respected, and supported. A core part of our public engagement strategy is high-quality digital programming that reaches national audiences, mobilizes supporters, and uplifts Black women leaders.Program OverviewSunday Brunch with Higher Heights is our flagship weekly livestream show. The program features timely political analysis, conversations with elected officials and candidates, cultural commentary, and community engagement centered on Black women’s leadership and political power.In addition to Sunday Brunch, Higher Heights produces:Candidate forums and conversationsPolicy briefings and research releasesSpecial election night coverageVirtual town halls and panel discussionsDonor briefings and internal conveningsTraining sessionsWe are seeking an experienced livestream production partner to support Sunday Brunch and other live virtual productions on an ongoing basis. These additional productions are expected 1–2 times per quarter, with frequency increasing as the midterm elections approach.Scope of WorkThe selected vendor will provide end-to-end livestream production services, including but not limited to:Pre-ProductionTechnical planning and run-of-show coordinationPlatform setup and testing (Zoom, StreamYard, Riverside, Restream, or similar)Speaker and guest tech checksAudio, lighting, and camera guidance for remote guestsGraphic integration planning (lower thirds, title cards, transitions)Live ProductionLive switching and show directionAudio mixing and monitoringManagement of on-screen graphics and branding elementsIntegration of pre-recorded video assetsMonitoring livestream quality and audience experienceReal-time troubleshooting and technical supportPost-ProductionDelivery of full program recordingsEditing of clips for social media and digital distributionCaptioning and accessibility supportArchiving and file managementTechnical RequirementsVendors should demonstrate experience with:Weekly livestream productionsMulti-speaker remote broadcastsIntegration with major social platforms (YouTube, Facebook, X, LinkedIn)High-quality audio and video standardsRedundant systems and backup plansAccessibility best practices (closed captioning, visual clarity)Vendor QualificationsProposals should reflect:Demonstrated experience producing livestreams for advocacy, nonprofit, or political organizationsAbility to manage live broadcasts with senior leaders, elected officials, and high-profile guestsStrong project management and communication skillsCommitment to professionalism, punctuality, and production excellenceFamiliarity with culturally competent storytelling and Black-led organizations is strongly preferredDeliverablesExpected deliverables may include:Weekly livestream production for Sunday Brunch with Higher HeightsEdited video clips for digital and social useEvent recordings delivered within agreed timelinesTechnical run-of-show documentationOngoing production support for additional virtual events as scheduledSupport interactive elements, including Q&A or polling as neededMeasures of SuccessHigh Quality. Ability to deliver livestreams without technical issues, including stable video and audio, seamless streaming, smooth transitions, and proper platform integration. All audio and visual elements should meet consistently high standards.Timeliness. On-time and available throughout setup, rehearsal, and during production of livestream events.Responsiveness. Technical issues and rapid adjustments must be addressed promptly, with solutions provided as needed.Post-Event Deliverables.
