Role Overview:
- We are hiring AI orchestrators who direct AI across the entire SDLC including writing, testing, verifying, deploying, troubleshooting, documenting, and shipping at high velocity.
- You bring judgment, architectural intent, and verification design while the AI handles the volume.
- This is an SDLC-focused role covering design, build, test, deploy, observe, troubleshoot, tune, and iterate.
- You own outcomes rather than tickets, pivot with company needs, and make architectural calls that withstand C-suite scrutiny.
Responsibilities:
- Own full-stack delivery across Python and Go services, PostgreSQL data layer, and AWS infrastructure.
- Contribute to mobile applications on iOS and Android, including managing App Store or Play Store review processes.
- Push AI tooling to the frontier by utilizing Claude Code, sub-agents, custom skills, project rules, MCP servers, and automated review loops.
- Own testing across the full pyramid, including unit, integration, end-to-end, and smoke tests.
- Drive requirements traceability by mapping requirements to code, code to tests, and tests to validated outcomes.
- Tune performance by profiling hot paths, database queries, network calls, memory pressure, and mobile rendering.
- Troubleshoot production issues as a forensic investigator to resolve root causes.
- Recommend and implement deployment approaches such as blue-green, canary, rolling, or feature-flagged releases.
- Make architectural decisions regarding serverless, containers, or EC2 and communicate tradeoffs, risks, and implications to the C-suite.
- Design AI-driven verification loops for automated test generation, code review, and regression checks.
- Pivot with company priorities in a regulated, infrastructure-heavy industry.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience prior to AI-augmented workflows.
- Demonstrable 10x output using Claude Code or comparable AI coding tools.
- Deep, current command of AI engineering workflows including agent teams, custom skills, and MCP integrations.
- Recent experience as a founding engineer with a history of shipping without a safety net.
- Real testing discipline across unit, integration, end-to-end, and smoke testing.
- Performance instincts including profiling, query optimization, and caching strategy.
- Troubleshooting depth with a methodical approach to isolating variables.
- Deployment and architecture judgment with the ability to defend technical choices.
- Excellent architectural judgment and communication skills to translate technical tradeoffs into business language.
- Independent, flexible, and thrives in a distributed team with async-first communication.
- Bias toward validation, traceability, and reproducibility over speed-without-rigor.
- Genuine love for the full SDLC and ownership of the entire lifecycle.
