Software Engineer – Java / Python / Full Stack Job Type: Full-Time / Contract Experience: 1–6 Years Location: United States (Remote) Hourly Rate: $60–$85/hour Job Summary We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer – Java / Python / Full Stack to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing scalable software applications using Java, Python, and modern full-stack technologies. This is a great opportunity for software engineers who enjoy working across the backend and frontend, building APIs, developing cloud-based applications, and solving complex technical problems. Candidates with strong experience in Java, Python, Spring Boot, REST APIs, React, Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, and cloud technologies are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications. Develop backend services and APIs using Java and/or Python. Build responsive and user-friendly web applications using modern frontend technologies. Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services. Work with relational and NoSQL databases. Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code. Participate in code reviews and contribute to software architecture decisions. Troubleshoot application issues and improve system performance. Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and other developers. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Implement unit, integration, and automated tests. Work with CI/CD pipelines and modern software development practices. Deploy and maintain applications in cloud environments. Document technical designs, APIs, and development processes. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 1–6 years of software development experience. Strong programming experience with Java and/or Python. Experience developing REST APIs and backend services. Understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles. Experience with SQL and relational databases. Familiarity with Git and version-control systems. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative development environment. Full-Stack Skills Experience with one or more of the following: React Angular JavaScript TypeScript HTML5 CSS3 Node.js Responsive web development Java Skills Java 8+ Spring / Spring Boot Spring MVC Spring Security Hibernate / JPA RESTful Web Services Microservices architecture Maven or Gradle Python Skills Python 3.x FastAPI, Flask, or Django REST API development Pandas and NumPy Object-oriented programming Automated testing Cloud & DevOps Experience with any of the following is a plus: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Docker Kubernetes Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools Terraform Cloud-native application development CI/CD pipelines Database Technologies Experience with one or more: PostgreSQL MySQL SQL Server Oracle MongoDB DynamoDB Redis Preferred Qualifications Experience building microservices. Experience with cloud-based applications. Knowledge of distributed systems. Familiarity with Kafka or other messaging technologies. Experience with automated testing frameworks.
