Position OverviewSeeking a highly experienced LinuxONE Deployment Infrastructure Engineer to manage and support the organization's complete IBM LinuxONE infrastructure estate across 4 physical data centers and 8 IBM LinuxONE Emperor 5 systems.The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with LinuxONE deployment, RHEL, storage, SAN, HMC, LPARs, automation, OpenShift, MQ, Kafka, and enterprise infrastructure integration.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and support the entire LinuxONE infrastructure estate across multiple data centers.Deploy and install IBM LinuxONE infrastructure and RHEL Linux environments.Configure and manage FS9600 storage, SAN switches, HMC, and LPARs.Deploy bare-metal RHEL LPARs for Oracle workloads and KVM LPARs for other applications.Support MQ, Kafka, and Red Hat OpenShift environments on LinuxONE.Configure HAProxy and Keepalived for high availability.Implement infrastructure monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, and Node Exporter.Work with IBM z HMC Exporter and Red Hat Identity Manager.Deploy and support Jenkins, Ansible control nodes, code repositories, and Yum/DNF repositories.Perform Linux troubleshooting, automation, scripting, patching, and infrastructure integration.Architect and implement Linux migration solutions.Provide technical leadership and collaborate with client, IBM, and cross-functional teams.Required Skills15+ years of IT infrastructure/Linux experience.Hands-on IBM LinuxONE deployment and build experience.Strong RHEL/Linux on IBM Z/LinuxONE expertise.Experience with LinuxONE, FS9600, SAN, HMC, and LPAR configuration.Experience with bare-metal RHEL and KVM LPARs.Experience supporting MQ, Kafka, and OpenShift on LinuxONE.Strong HAProxy/Keepalived experience.Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Node Exporter, and infrastructure monitoring.Experience with Ansible, Jenkins, scripting, automation, patching, and repositories.Strong Linux troubleshooting and enterprise infrastructure integration skills.⭐ Preferred SkillsExpert knowledge of Linux on zSystems/LinuxONE technologies.Linux migration architecture and implementation experience.Technical team leadership experience.Strong executive-level communication and presentation skills.
