Position OverviewMetroSys is seeking a skilled Nutanix Engineer to support the deployment, configuration, and ongoing management of Nutanix environments across client engagements. This role is focused on hands-on implementation and operational support within HCI platforms.The ideal candidate has strong experience with Nutanix technologies and is comfortable working in client-facing, fast-paced environments supporting both projects and operational needs.Key ResponsibilitiesDeploy, configure, and support Nutanix HCI environments across multiple clientsAdminister and maintain:Nutanix AOSAHV virtualizationPrism Element and Prism CentralSupport infrastructure projects, including:Cluster deployments and expansionsMigration of workloads to NutanixSystem upgrades and lifecycle managementPerform troubleshooting and issue resolution across compute, storage, and virtualization layersAssist with backup, replication, and disaster recovery configurationsMonitor system health and performance, ensuring optimal operation and availabilityCollaborate with architects and senior engineers on design implementation and validationMaintain accurate documentation, configurations, and runbooksSupport client requests, incidents, and service ticketsRequired Qualifications3–7+ years of experience in infrastructure, virtualization, or systems engineeringHands-on experience with:Nutanix AOS and AHVPrism management toolsStrong understanding of:Virtualization conceptsStorage and compute infrastructureNetworking fundamentalsExperience troubleshooting HCI environments and enterprise systemsAbility to work across multiple clients and manage competing prioritiesPreferred SkillsNutanix certification (NCA, NCP, etc.)Experience migrating from VMware or Hyper-V to Nutanix AHVFamiliarity with backup and DR solutionsExposure to automation or scripting (PowerShell, APIs)Experience in managed services or consulting environments
