We are seeking a seasoned Director, IT Security to lead enterprise cybersecurity, IT risk, governance, and public-company readiness for a leading Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical organization.⚠️ Recent Life Sciences / Pharma industry experience is mandatory.🔹 Key ResponsibilitiesLead the organization's cybersecurity strategy, IT risk, and security operationsDrive SOX, SEC Cyber Disclosure, and IPO Readiness initiativesOwn IT General Controls (ITGC), governance, risk management, and compliance programsDesign and implement enterprise security architecture across cloud, identity, endpoints, and networksManage Microsoft 365 / Entra ID security, SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, and Zero Trust initiativesOversee vulnerability management, SIEM/SOC operations, incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuityLead third-party vendor security assessments and compliance reviewsEnsure compliance with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA, SOX, and other regulatory requirementsDevelop AI security governance and secure AI adoption strategiesPartner with IT, Quality, Clinical Operations, Legal, Regulatory, and Executive Leadership🔹 Required Qualifications15+ years of Information Security / Cybersecurity experienceRecent experience in the Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical industry (Required)Experience leading enterprise security programs in regulated environmentsHands-on expertise with:Microsoft 365 / Entra IDIdentity & Access Management (SSO, MFA, Conditional Access)Cisco MerakiSIEM / SOCVulnerability & Patch ManagementEndpoint Security & Microsoft IntuneCloud Security & Zero TrustSecurity ArchitectureIT Governance & Risk ManagementIT General Controls (ITGC)Incident Response & Disaster Recovery⭐ Preferred QualificationsCISSP, CISM, CCSP, CRISC, or equivalent certificationsExperience with IPO Readiness, SOX Implementation, or SEC Cyber Disclosure ProgramsFamiliarity with Veeva, CTMS, eTMF, QMS, and Computer System Validation (CSV)Experience supporting GxP-regulated environments and clinical systemsIf you're a senior cybersecurity leader with recent Life Sciences/Pharma experience and a passion for building secure, compliant enterprise environments, we'd love to hear from you!
