An award-winning engineering-led design-build firm is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to help deliver innovative building upgrades and decarbonization projects across higher education, manufacturing, government, and commercial facilities. This is an opportunity to see your designs through from concept to construction while working on projects focused on sustainability, energy efficiency, and high-performance buildings.The role will be fully remote, looking for someone in Washington State for occasional site walks (10% travel annually).What You'll Be DoingDesign HVAC and mechanical building systems for new construction and retrofit projects.Lead engineering calculations, equipment selection, and technical design using Revit and AutoCAD.Conduct facility assessments and identify energy conservation opportunities.Collaborate closely with in-house construction, estimating, and commissioning teams to deliver fully integrated projects.Support decarbonization and net-zero initiatives for a diverse client base.What We're Looking ForProfessional Engineer (PE) license required.Proven years of mechanical building systems design experience.Strong HVAC design expertise with knowledge of relevant codes and standards.Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and load calculation software.Passion for sustainable design and improving building performance.Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.What's on OfferUnlimited PTO with mandatory minimum time off.Outstanding health benefits, paid parental leave and strong 401(k) match.Opportunity to work on impactful decarbonization and energy efficiency projects across the U.S.
