The Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Payroll Specialist based in the Philippines to support payroll operations across a portfolio of startup clients. This role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, payroll reporting support, and payroll administration across multiple entities and systems. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, payroll operations experience, and a process-driven mindset suited for a fast-paced, high-touch environment supporting early-stage and high-growth startup clients. This role will report to the Payroll Operations Manager (US based) and work closely with the HR and the accounting teams to support scalable and compliant payroll operations across a growing client portfolio. Responsibilities Support end-to-end U.S. payroll processing across multiple startup clientsAssist with payroll data entry, payroll audits, and payroll reconciliation supportValidate employee deductions, payroll changes, bonuses, commissions, and reimbursementsSupport payroll setup and termination processing for new hires and departing employeesSupport payroll-related benefits deductions and contribution tracking for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plansAssist with payroll tax reporting, filings, and year-end documentation support (W-2s, 1099s)Support payroll-related equity compensation reporting and payroll eventsAssist with payroll accrual reporting and month-end close supportMaintain payroll records, documentation, and internal controlsWork within payroll systems including Gusto, Rippling, Justworks, Deel, ADP, or similar platformsIdentify opportunities to improve payroll workflows and operational efficiencyPartner closely with Payroll Operations, HR, and Accounting teams to support accurate and timely payroll operationsQualifications & Experience Required 3+ years of payroll, HR operations, or payroll administration experienceExperience supporting U.S. payroll operations preferredExperience supporting multiple clients, entities, or business unitsExperience with payroll systems such as Gusto, Rippling, Justworks, Deel, or similar platformsStrong Excel or Google Sheets skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong written and verbal English communication skillsPreferred Experience supporting startup or outsourced services environmentsFamiliarity with U.S. payroll taxes, deductions, and compliance processesExperience supporting payroll reconciliations and month-end reportingExperience working remotely with U.S.-based teamsCompensation Target compensation range: $18,000 – $24,000 ($7-$9/hour) commensurate with experience and qualifications.Why Join B Consulting Work with innovative, high-growth startup clientsCollaborative and entrepreneurial team environmentOpportunity to grow within a scaling finance and HR operations platformRemote, flexible, and impact-driven culture
