Determine and verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility for financial assistance programs. Knowledgeable of all aspects of the financial process from scheduling, billing, and collections.Your ImpactCommunicate well with patients and insurance companies over the phone or faxDocument and report payment information timely and accuratelyVerify and assure all accounts are ready for billing with adequate supporting documentation, within the established time framesEducate patients about payment options and financial assistanceNegotiate and strategize patient payment arrangementsUpdate patient accounts and balancesCollect patient payments over the phoneReview and process patient and insurance company formsFollow policy and procedures in regard to financial screening, arrangements and third-party demandsMinimum QualificationsRequires less than 1 year of related experienceMinimum good fit for the job, as determined by the Talent Bullseye assessment.
