Bilingual PR Coordinator (Media Lists & Pitching) at Pinzur Communications

Please read this part carefully: you must love building media lists. Roughly half of this role is hands-on media list work, every single day: researching journalists, verifying who covers what right now, updating records as reporters change beats and outlets, and keeping every list accurate before it goes out. This is as much a data management job as it is a writing job. If detailed, repetitive list work drains you, this is not the right fit and we'd rather tell you that now than three weeks in. The other half is the work most people picture when they think of PR: drafting press materials, pitching stories, coordinating with journalists, tracking coverage and supporting client campaigns. This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys the organizational and research side of public relations as much as the writing and relationship-building. Key Responsibilities: Build, maintain, clean and segment targeted media lists daily Review and update lists on an ongoing basis to ensure accuracy, including verifying that journalists still cover the beat, outlet and market indicated Research journalists, outlets, podcasts and other relevant contacts Maintain accurate contact records in Muck Rack or a similar platform Pitch journalists and follow up on media opportunities Track media coverage and prepare client reports Draft press releases, media pitches, talking points and other communications materials Coordinate interviews and other opportunities with journalists and clients Edit and proofread materials for accuracy, grammar, clarity and consistency Support additional public relations campaigns and client initiatives as needed
