About the Role: - We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to take ownership of quality across complex, cloud-native systems. - This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you will design automation frameworks, lead QA strategy, and ensure reliability at scale. - You will work closely with engineering, product, and DevOps teams while mentoring QA engineers and driving best practices. Working Conditions: - Contract Type: B2B. - Compensation: Gross salary (within stated range). - Holidays: 10 public holidays per year. - Vacation & Sick Leave: Unpaid. - Fully remote. Key Responsibilities: Test Design & Execution: - Design, write, and maintain manual and automated test cases. - Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing. - Develop BDD-based test scenarios. - Implement data-driven and keyword-driven testing. - Validate backend systems using SQL. - Integrate with tools like Jira / AIO Test Management. Automation & Framework Development: - Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks. - Implement UI automation using Playwright (MANDATORY). - Develop API tests (Postman, REST Assured, Karate). - Integrate automation into CI/CD (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions). - Write clean, maintainable code (Java, Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript). - Test modern frontend apps (React, Jest, RTL). - Validate .NET Core applications. QA Leadership & Strategy: - Lead and mentor QA engineers. - Define QA processes, strategy, and best practices. - Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, DevOps. - Drive quality metrics and continuous improvement. - Identify risks early and ensure resolution. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders. AWS & Environment Management (MANDATORY): - Manage QA environments in AWS. - Work with: Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, ECS, X-Ray. - Test microservices in cloud-native architectures. - Apply distributed systems testing strategies. - Perform performance testing in cloud environments. Required Qualifications: - 8+ years in QA Automation / Software Testing. - Strong hands-on experience with Playwright. - Deep understanding of automation frameworks & architecture. - API testing + CI/CD integration experience. - Strong SQL & backend validation skills. - Proven AWS experience. - Strong coding skills in at least one modern language. - Experience testing modern web apps (React preferred). - Excellent communication & problem-solving skills. Nice to Have: - Experience with GenAI tools for testing. - QA metrics & reporting dashboards. - ISTQB certification. - Performance testing (JMeter or k6). - Docker & Kubernetes experience.
